Cora Bennett

I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Economics at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and a graduate research assistant at the Boyd Center for Business and Economic Research. I am on the job market for the 2020-2021 academic year and am available for interviews before, during and after the (virtual) 2021 ASSA meetings.

I study applied microeconomics and am interested in policy relevant topics in the fields of public economics, economics of education, and labor economics. My current research focuses primarily on early childhood literacy interventions and evaluating labor supply effects of social safety net participation.
